I am considering a hair transplant. How long will it last?

The short answer is that a high-quality hair surgical procedure should last for the rest of your life. This is because when you lose your hair, the thinning or bald areas are not caused by genetic problems with your scalp, but rather the hair follicles. The surgeon will use donor follicles which are genetically programmed against hair loss.
